TOTP

TOTP (Fallback)​

If passkey is unavailable, Identity supports TOTP as fallback.

Typical flow:

  1. Enter username/password or primary credential.
  2. Enter 6-digit TOTP code from authenticator app.
  3. Continue into authenticated session.

Notes​

  • Keep backup recovery options enabled.
  • Encourage migration to passkeys where possible.
