Rate Limits​

Rate limits protect platform stability and are enforced per credential and endpoint class.

Expected behavior​

  • Burst and sustained limits may differ by endpoint.
  • Rate-limit windows may be fixed or sliding.
  • Exceeded requests return 429.

Retry guidance​

  1. Read Retry-After when present.
  2. Use exponential backoff with jitter.
  3. Stop retry storms using circuit breakers.
  4. Prefer queueing over direct retries under pressure.
